Brookdale Community College was founded in 1967 to serve as a resource for all residents of Monmouth County, from young students hoping to earn a degree to adults looking for a career change.  Brookdale is a two-year, public, coeducational institution offering over 70 associate degree options and certificate programs as well as community development, business development, and adult basic education and ESL programs. The College prides itself on its engagement with and service to nearly 30,000 residents from Monmouth County and the surrounding region who come to Brookdale each year to earn a degree, a certificate, a workforce credential, a new skill or simply to enrich their lives.  There are six locations in all corners of the county, offering education, training, support and even bachelor’s degree partnerships to residents of all ages and backgrounds. The College is dedicated to offering numerous professional development and educational opportunities for its faculty and staff, as well as its students.   Brookdale Community College continues to be one of the top associate degree-producing colleges in the county.
