The Department of Chemistry invites applicants for a Full-time, 9-month, Tenure-Track, Assistant Professor, Organic Chemist or Medicinal Chemist position. The position begins in August 2027.

The Department of Chemistry, part of the College of the Sciences and Mathematics, works to provide the highest quality of chemistry education. The department operates the Pharmaceutical Product Development (PPD) program and supports research across all areas of chemistry. The department encourages creativity and offers support & mentorship. The faculty members serve as both instructors and researchers.
The faculty position involves teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses that may be offered in-person, online, and/or via distance education modalities. The ideal candidate will use innovative teaching skills and demonstrate attention to the learning and teaching needs of the department’s students. The individual will leverage their experience, expertise, and training to the success of the various department programs. The faculty member will collaborate with other departmental faculty and staff to ensure student success.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act and Act 73 of 1988, West Chester University publishes a combined Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASFSR).
