Director of Military Enrollment and Workforce Solutions
Jefferson Community College, part of the State University of New York (SUNY), is currently conducting a search for the Director of Military Enrollment and Workforce Solutions.
The Director of Military Enrollment and Workforce Solutions directs both the Military Enrollment and Workforce Solutions offices, overseeing non-credit workforce training, community education, professional development, and business and industry programs. The Director partners with employers, community organizations, government agencies, and educational institutions to develop programs that support regional workforce and economic development in the North Country region.
The Director also oversees credit course delivery at Fort Drum, ensuring programs meet the needs of students, employers, and the community. Jefferson proudly serves hundreds of military-affiliated students, and this position offers a unique opportunity to champion their success by leading initiatives that expand military enrollment, enhance the student experience, and help service members, veterans, and their families achieve their educational and career goals.
The position supervises program and instructional staff and is responsible for program planning, implementation, quality, outcomes assessment, fiscal management, compliance, enrollment growth, and continuous improvement of Jefferson Community College's workforce and military education initiatives.
Required: Bachelor's degree and 6 years of appropriate professional experience or Master’s degree and at least 4 years of appropriate professional experience.
Applicants must interact and communicate effectively with diverse populations, foster inclusion, and promote equal access and treatment for groups traditionally underrepresented in higher education.
Preferred: Experience in higher education or related field preferred, with demonstrated success in managing complex operations and leading diverse teams.
$52,240 - $72,000 - Compensation will be aligned with the selected candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications as well as internal equity and in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
