The William & Anita Newman Library at Baruch College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor in collection management, beginning Fall 2026. The successful candidate will lead and advance the Library’s strategic stewardship of print and digital collections, aligning them with the teaching, research, and student success mission of Baruch College.
The Newman Library serves a student population of almost 21,000 across the Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs, the George and Mildred Weissman School of Arts and Sciences, and the Zicklin School of Business. It also serves as the library resource for CUNY’s online School of Professional Studies. The Library is located on floors 2-5 of the 330,000 square-foot Information and Technology Building, which also houses the student computing lab, Subotnick Financial Services Center, and student business services.

As a tenure-track faculty member, the Collection Management Librarian will:
Compensation and Benefits:
$90,838-$98,995 for a twelve month appointment
*Salary scheduled for a 3.5% contractual increase on September 1, 2026
