The position is a full-time, twelve (12) month, live-in professional Residence Life Coordinator(s). The University Housing department houses 4,300 residents in suite style high-rise towers, residence halls, and apartments. Our Residence Life Staff are responsible for managing communities through staff supervision (professional and paraprofessional), advising, training, and serving on a rotating on-call 24 hour, 365 day crisis response. Residence Life Coordinators adjudicate low to high level conduct cases and respond to a variety of crisis situations. RLCs will have opportunities to increase professional skills through leading academic initiatives and student learning opportunities, high conduct caseloads, supervision, and campus involvement. Starting salary for this appointment is $34,700 as well as a partially furnished apartment, meal plan, health benefits, institutional involvement, professional development, and recognition are just a few of the benefits our department offers. The final salary offer is dependent upon the finalist’s experience and qualifications. Professional development fund support is also provided based on departmental budget availability in a given fiscal year. Amounts may vary by year.
