SEMINOLE STATE COLLEGE PRESIDENT SEARCH The Seminole State College Board of Trustees invites nominations and applications for the position of President. This exciting opportunity is being created by the retirement of the institution’s highly successful chief executive, Dr. E. Ann McGee, who is stepping down on July 31, 2018, after 22 years of distinguished service. The trustees seek a dynamic president who will lead Seminole State College to new levels of excellence, serving students and Central Florida with innovative programs and initiatives. Seminole State’s third president is expected to assume office during the summer of 2018. The president reports to the Board of Trustees. Seminole State is part of the Florida College System, a network of twenty-eight institutions. The College is proud of its nearly 1,800 talented faculty and staff and is accredited by The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Since its founding in 1965, Seminole State has grown to become a cutting-edge, four-campus institution, serving nearly 30,000 students annually with more than 200 associate and bachelor’s degree, certificate, continuing education, professional development, English language and academic foundation programs. An earned doctorate or a terminal degree is required at the time of appointment. Collegiate teaching experience is strongly preferred.
