
Web Development Coordinator
Reporting to the Executive Director of Strategic Marketing & Communications, the Web Development Coordinator leads the management, content, development, accessibility, and continuous improvement of the RCC Website and MyRCC portal.
Essential Functions:
- Manage multiple web projects; update website content; troubleshoot website and portal issues; and research tools, features, and related technologies.
- Oversee website quality assurance, including link checks, code cleanup, accessibility compliance, and monitoring via Site improve.
- Manage, including technical support, for multi-media production center or similar studio on campus
- Participate in ongoing training related to web standards and accessibility; keep team members informed of changes and best practices.
- Working with multiple stakeholders across the College, manage and prioritize website and portal requests in collaboration with the Strategic Marketing team to ensure alignment with college priorities.
- Monitor MyRCC portal content and layout; correct inconsistencies and ensure alignment with website messaging.
- Track and analyze website performance metrics and produce reports as needed.
- Build and maintain web forms as required.
- Create online versions of college publications and other literature.
- Assist in producing promotional, educational, instructional, community outreach, web, video, design, print, and broadcast projects.
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Strategic Marketing & Communications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or university or equivalent technical experience.
- Minimum of 2-4 years related job experience.
- Higher education experience is preferred.
- May exercise managerial/supervisory responsibility
- Provides guidance, leadership, or training to other employees (no direct supervision)
SKILLS:
- In addition to the required qualifications, the following skills are required unless noted:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- WordPress
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
- Attention to detail, strong proofreading skills
Starting Salary: $68,000 - $72,000
