Edgewood University seeks a highly collaborative, innovative, and experienced academic leader to serve as its next Dean, College of Business, Communications and Technology. The Dean will report directly to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, playing a key role in guiding the institution’s strategic direction, aligned with its Catholic and Dominican mission and values. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker capable of navigating the complexities of higher education through clear academic vision, curricular innovation, creative partnerships, and strong engagement with faculty.

Located in Madison, Wisconsin, the University is a private liberal arts institution grounded in Dominican Catholic values. Edgewood offers a wide range of academic programs, including 40+ undergraduate majors, 40+ minors, and 25+ postgraduate degrees. Degrees span undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels, ensuring comprehensive educational pathways for all students. Academic Programs at Edgewood University are organized into three colleges: The College of Arts and Sciences, The College of Business, Communications, and Technology and The Henry Predolin College of Health Sciences. Edgewood enrolls 1,042 full-time undergraduate students, 194 part-time undergraduate students, and 1,233 graduate students. Small class sizes and highly experienced faculty are hallmarks of an Edgewood education, with a 15:1 student/faculty ratio, 81 percent of undergraduate classes with fewer than 20 students, and an average class size of 13.
The Dean is responsible for providing dynamic and effective leadership in the operation and development of the College of Business, Communications, and Technology, including the areas of planning, budgeting, personnel, community relations, and curriculum. Priorities for the Dean include: improving external visibility; continuing the significant growth trajectory; maintaining the student-centered culture while scaling; and developing infrastructure solutions to support the College’s growth.
