Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Financial Aid, the Financial Aid Advisor supports the administration of federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs, assists students and families with the application process, and helps ensure efficient operations and regulatory compliance in support of the College’s enrollment and retention goals.
Essential Functions:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical experience from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
Experience:
One (1) to two (2) years of student service experience or demonstrated technical proficiency in appropriate field. Proficiency in student information systems, data manipulation and Microsoft Office applications, including Banner. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and well-developed administrative skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years Financial Aid experience
Bilingual in Spanish and/or French Creole
Starting Salary: $59,825 - $63,000
