The Department of Housing & Residential Education provides a safe and secure living environment for residents in addition to promoting the academic success and intellectual development of student residents. The department enhances the residents’ ability to graduate in a timely manner by offering programs, services, facilities and learning communities that support the academic needs and goals of the residents. These programs, services, facilities and learning communities also align with the mission of the University to promote intellectual learning experiences outside of the classroom to maximize student success.
