The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University (Mandel School) holds a special place in history as the nation’s first university-affiliated professional graduate school of social work.
The Mandel School’s MSSA degree is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) Commission on Accreditation and is equivalent to an MSW.
As a top-ranked school of social work (#9 in the nation and #1 in Ohio), we help students examine their perceptions of diversity to become more culturally aware and prepared for their roles as social work and nonprofit professionals.
