The College of Public Health, a constellation of 9 academic units of public health, health profession and social work disciplines, enrolls nearly 5,000 students in 8 undergraduate and 28 graduate degree programs. The College has seen remarkable growth and organizational expansion in configuration of programs, research profile, increase in rankings, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The College’s research focuses on medical interventions, social, behavioral, and environmental inquiries, and basic science and is sponsored by NIH, NSF, and other major funders. Collaborations include Fox Chase Cancer Center, the Center for Obesity Research and Education, Temple’s University Health System, other health systems, community health centers, and the Philadelphia Department of Public Health.
