The Neuroscience Institute at Georgia State University invites applications for the position of full-time Lecturer to begin August 2019. GSU is an innovative university located in downtown Atlanta and enjoys a diverse student body, including approximately 50,000 students from more than 170 countries. The Neuroscience Institute anticipates recruiting a broadly trained faculty member who can contribute effectively to undergraduate teaching and service. We have particular teaching needs for courses supporting the B.S. in Neuroscience, such as Principles of Neuroscience II, Professional Development in Neuroscience, and Scientific Method in Neuroscience. This nine-month salaried position with full state benefits and eligibility for promotion includes a service component, such as creating/managing internships and curriculum development, and has options for additional salary through summer teaching in various Neuroscience Institute programs.
A Ph.D. in neuroscience or a related field at the time of hire and experience with teaching undergraduate neuroscience-related coursework are required.
