Bank Street is a small, vibrant Graduate School located in New York City, which offers intensive, individualized master's degree programs every year to about 800 aspiring teachers, museum educators, child life professionals, and school leaders.  The Graduate School of Education is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and by the Middle States Commission of Higher Education.  

Bank Street is a rich source of innovative ideas and practices for all who care about children and their education.  It is a leader in progressive, child-centered education and offers students outstanding programs through the close integration of academic student and field-based experiences.  Faculty share the belief that social and educational issues affecting children and youth deserve the highest priority.  These convictions are evident within our programs and in our efforts to assess and improve our work.
