The Department of Mathematics invites applications for one or more 3-year postdoctoral positions in pure and applied mathematics, beginning July 1, 2026. Positions involve research and teaching, with opportunities through endowed instructorships and faculty collaborations. Additional openings in applied mathematics are supported by the NSF RTG “Optimization and Inversion for the 21st Century Workforce.” Strong candidates in optimization, inverse problems, materials, fluids, biosciences, data science, machine learning, and statistics are especially encouraged to apply.
