
The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at DePaul University’s Driehaus College of Business invites applications for one full-time non-tenure-track position in Business Analytics beginning academic year 2025-2026. The Instructor position will have the following responsibilities: Teach 3 courses per quarter (9 each year) to both graduate and undergraduate students and participate in committees and service related to the undergraduate (BSB) and graduate (MS) Business Analytics programs. Responsibilities of the position will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Analytics, such as business statistics, machine learning, data visualization, and data management.
The Department of Management and Entrepreneurship houses a diverse, multi-disciplinary and research-active faculty who support undergraduate and graduate programs in business analytics, entrepreneurship, human resource management, general management, and supply chain management. MS in Business Analytics is a rapidly growing program, with a high influx of students with diverse industry backgrounds. The BSB program launched in the Fall of 2023 and includes an interdisciplinary business curriculum focused on applying business analytics to business problems. Many of the department’s faculty also support the college’s rigorous Doctorate in Business Administration program.
DePaul University’s Driehaus College of Business is located in the heart of downtown Chicago’s vibrant urban business district. The college has built a strong relationship with the local business community, including several custom corporate MBA programs. DePaul’s vibrant academic community includes active student groups such as Kellstadt Business Analytics Organization, which support students interested in Business Analytics.

About DePaul University's Academic Calendar:
Except for the College of Law, DePaul University operates on a quarter system. Classes in Autumn, Winter, and Spring quarters are 11 weeks in length (including finals week) and Summer courses, in two sessions, are typically 5 weeks in length. The College of Law operates on the semester system. Classes in the Fall and Spring semesters are 16 weeks in length (including finals week) and it offers a Summer Session of 7 weeks (including final exams).
Salary Information: The salary range for this 10-month position is $93,060 - $130,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
