We are seeking to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Community Psychology, to begin in September 2025. Ideal candidates will have a PhD in Community Psychology or a related academic area with a focus in trauma-related research. Candidates will have the skills to develop, expand, and lead a master’s-level internship-based academic program with direct community outreach. The selected candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, maintain a productive research agenda, and direct undergraduate and graduate student research while contributing to a climate of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Ideal candidates will have a PhD in Community Psychology or a related discipline, evidence of, or potential for, teaching and mentoring excellence and building a climate of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, and evidence of an appropriate research agenda. Ideal candidates will also have expertise or experience relevant to community outreach as well as program development, and administration. The desired area of teaching and/or research should focus on traumatized populations (broadly defined) and trauma-informed care.
