Assistant Professor Tenure Track Faculty Position and Head of BFA Scene Design Program.

The Theatre School at DePaul University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track assistant professor to serve as head of its renowned BFA Scene Design program. The Theatre School provides advanced training and design opportunities in a state of the art facility located in the heart of Chicago’s vibrant theatre community. The school educates enterprising artists, thinkers, innovators, leaders, and globally conscious citizens who transform communities across DePaul, Chicago, the nation, and the world. The expert, passionate faculty and staff are committed to advancing the vibrancy of live theatre and performance while continually adapting to a broadening and changing profession.

We seek a colleague who is passionate about teaching in an urban multicultural conservatory. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader, an accomplished professional, and an excellent teacher. Position begins September of 2018.
