Instructional Designer Information Technology Services at Messiah College currently has an opening for the full time position of Instructional Designer. Under the supervision of the Director of Learning Technology Services, the Instructional Designer will design, promote, and deliver innovative and effective teaching and learning practices utilizing information technology to enhance the learning process. Education and experience required: Master’s Degree and 3-5 years of experience required. Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology or related field and teaching experience preferred. Other requirements include: Excellent organizational, time management and independent thinking skills; excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding customer service skills; excellent written, verbal, and listening judgment and interpersonal skills; must be able to meet the demands of a flexible schedule; must demonstrate initiative and creativity; ability to plan and prioritize projects and intentional follow up; and ability to work effectively in a team oriented environment with a wide range of campus constituents.
