Statement of Duties: Under the general supervision of the Manager of Custodial Operations & Services, this position is responsible for the planning, organization, implementation and control of the custodial programs in University Housing residence halls and apartments. Functions as the supervisor for the University Housing Custodians and student workers within the University Housing facilities at several different locations. The incumbent has 24 hour responsibility for a complex custodial operation. A flexible work schedule is mandatory for this position and will vary throughout the year. Minimum Qualifications: Prior experience serving in a supervisory or lead worker capacity Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work weekends and nights when necessary Ability to work occasional overtime Preferred Qualifications: 1. Prior experience supervising full-time custodial staff 2. Prior experience supervising student staff 3. Prior experience training staff 4. Prior experience scheduling staff 5. Prior work experience in a facility that operates 24/7 6.
